Does Amtrak ever cancel any scheduled trains during a snow storm in Michigan?

A FRIEND IS STUCK IN MICHIGAN DUE TO THE SNOW STORM. WELL SHE CALLED IN TO WORK AND I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR BOSS DOESN'T TRY TO PLAY ANY GAMES WITH HER. ALL B/C OF A TRAIN.

The official word is called annulled. Thsi way it does not effect the on time performance of the rr..

yes this is very possible if you are really unsure just call amtrak they wll tell you

Yep! They've even annulled trains in the dead of summer. Heck, they've annulled part of the "Sunset Limited" for over 2 years. . .

if there's a strong wind or a few raindrops, Amtrak is thrown into turmoil.

they try not to but I'm sure it dose happen. the things that stop them the most is the freight rail road( messing with them like do on a daily bases), power outage earthquake (even tho these do not happen in Michigan) and bad equipment but still they do not cancel as much as the air lines do because of snow. yeah the train is most likely to be majorly delayed instead of being canceled.
