Default How do you get to the Bronx from Manhattan New York City?

Also, is Broadway in the Bronx? Or is it in midtown manhattan? If so, how do i get from manhattan to Broadway? Because I'm coming from South Philly, and I really need to get there this weekend.PS - What Train should I take? Amtrak? Or the R7? Because I wanna get there between 1 hr 30 minutes to 2 hr 10 minutes tops.BTW, how does the R7 work? Do you have to purchase more than one ticket? Because I'm gonna do a Round-Way trip and from Trenton, do I need to go directly onto the NJ Transit?- Thanks.

Broadway is not in the Bronx. Im from Canada but was there last year. I stayed in Vorhees NJ (close to philly) and it only took about an hour and 15 to get to world trade center. The train system is really easy to use once your in the city. Sorry I cant help more but im sure someone will help you out soon!good luck

There is a Broadway in all 5 boroughs including the Bronx! And the Broadway in Manhattan runs it's entire length which is about 17 miles. But I'm willing to bet that you are going to midtown manhattan somewhere. Best way from Philly would be Amtrak, I've never even heard of R7. Amtrak takes you to Penn Station which is just a block away from Herald Square/Broadway and 34th Street.

the broadway you probably wanted is in manhattan. all the broadway plays are in times square from 42nd to 50th st. broadway below houston st to canal is all shopping. there is more on broadway depending on what you want.if you want to save money, take the bus, it will cost $30 round trip, take you 3 hours one way. if you take the R7/nj transit, it will cost $40 round trip, take 1 1/2 hours one way. if you take amtrak, it will cost $86 round trip, take 2 hours 40min one way.when you take the R7, you need one one-way ticket, and another one-way ticket back when you come back. for the nj transit train, you can buy a discount round-trip ticket that is available for purchase on the weekends.the R7 and the NJ Transit trains are on the same schedule. they make it so you don't miss your train or have to wait long. basically the other train you want to take is already waiting on the same platform, sometimes on the same track as the arriving train. here's the schedulehttp://www.njtransit.com/pdf/rail/r0070.pdfon the weekends, the R7 train leaves every hour on the hour, with the first train at 6am. so for example.... the first R7 leaves at 6am in the morning. it will arrive in trenton 55 minutes later at 6.55am. in trenton, buy a ticket from the vending machine on the platform. you have about 7 minutes. the nj transit train will leave at 7.03am, and will arrive in newark penn station at 8.12am, and will arrive at new york penn station at 8.38pm.total trip time on the R7/nj transit train will take 2 hours 40 minutes. septa raised the fare so much now.... it's $9 one way. nj transit is $21.50 round trip. TOTAL $40 round trip.if you take amtrak, it will take you 1 hr 30 min. the tickets will be a minimum of $43. some tickets are $61, other tickets are $95 depending on the train number. schedule, check http://www.amtrak.com for detail.on the weekends, there's a 5.15am, 7.20am, 9.23am, 10.20am, and a 10.30am train for $43 one way. for $61, there's a 8.20am, and 9.20am trainyou can also take a chinatown bus for $15, but that will take you 3 hours.http://www.nychinatown.org/directory/m_bus.html#philly10 points plz.
