i want to travel from LA to San Diego on the pacific surfliner. which station is closest to ucsd?

i want to go visit my boyfriend tomorrow at ucsd and i want to take the pacific surfliner because i know it goes to san diego. however, there are three stations that i can get off at: Solana BeachOld Town Train SationSan Diegohttp://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Amtrak/am2Route/Vertical_Route_Page&c=am2Route&cid=1081256322013&s sid=132the middle of the bottom of the page lists the stops.which stop should i get off at if i want to get as close to ucsd as possible? thanks

I would suggest Old town but I dont think all amtrak trainwill stop at Old town (then you can take a bus)line 150

If you are taking the bus to the station. Use Old Town Station. Although both locations are equidistant from UCSD, with Solana beach being closer to LA there are more buses going to and from Old Town Station then Solana Beach Station. If you are driving use Solana Beach, it has off street parking and a terminal.
