Moving with a fish? I have a 10 gallon tank and the only fish I have in there is a betta and a couple live plants. I'm going to be moving over 700 miles away this coming June and I'm not expecting my fish to be dead by then... I will not be driving most likely. I know that airlines do not allow liquid carry ons, so taking a fish on a plane is probably out of the question (though I don't know how checking one would go...) I really don't have the money to ship it (as much as I love him, I could easily just buy a new one for way cheaper than it'd cost to ship him). Has anyone had experience of this sort? Would a train or bus allow me to take it aboard (though it would be a 20hour trip, a betta can survive without a filter and the likes for that long quite easily). I've emailed Amtrak and am waiting for a response, but I was just curious if anyone else had experience with this. |
