Default What is the cheapest way to travel to connecticut from New York?

My girlfriend live in Connecticut and it cost us a lot of money to see each other by amtrak trains.I was wondering if there is a cheaper way to get there, not necessary easier, but cheaper.Except driving.

You could get on a plane and fly there. There might be tour buses that would pass by there on the way to its destination that you could look into, but other than that, there really isnt anything else.Greyhound is an option for you, but it depends on where your going.
