HiI dont work for Amtrak, so I can only give you generalities based on years of railroadingA human resources manager is going to look for someone willing to relocate, anywhere in the industry that is crucial, if you can't say yes then your interview is essentially over. They will look for someone positive, willing to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts. A good work history of course, no health issues that would affect potential job performance. Be positive, be honest, be yourself. Good Luck!

It greatly depends on what position your interviewing for.Amtrak has many jobs different jobs from The people who Clean the trains after each run, People who repair & maintain the tracks, People who maintain and repair the trains as well as on board crew members.From what I have seen Amtrak can be a great place to work.
