hotel question?

If i wanted to work as a maid or cleaning service at a HOTEL/motel would i get to live there for free? how would that work out?

Probably not. Unless you work somewhere that is very isolated or has a really high cost of living then they may have dorms... but you're not going to get a room.

Never heard of that for a hotel, but some estates have guest cottages for full time housekeepers.

Perhaps. I know some hotel/motels/cruise ships offer living quarters as part of their jobs like desk clerks and such.

Umm well it depends on what hotel you are working at. I have never heard of a hotel allowing you to live there just so you can clean. If you did get to live there i am sure they would have to work so arrgenments out. And also most of the time the people you live there are the people that run the front desk not the maids. Hope this helps

They do abroad. You can stay for the whole of the summer, and you can do a number of different jobs too, not just maid. Try the job searches on the web, and get your name down for next year.

Nope, as a staff member, you receive benefits such as discounts and probably a logo-imprinted jacket or such, but each room represents profit.If hotels had to house workers, Imagine how much money they'd be losing.Simple, No.
