I need a hotel that is affordable (our wallet isn't THAT big) that is VERY NEAR Soho in New York. Any recommendations? I also think the Soho Grand and the Mercer is TOOOOOO expensive. It's luxurious and all but their rates are so high. The Soho Grand raises their rates every night and i don't like that. So I'm looking for hotels cheaper than those two, but good enough to stay in.

try the Larchmont, it's a residence that was made into a hotel decades ago, the rooms are small, the bathrooms/ showers are down the hall, but it's very close to Soho and very clean and cheap. probably booked up by now, but here's the number:2129899333
