New York City Hotel question??

My husband and I want to go to New York City for New Years, does anyone know any good hotels that are semi-cheap. I know they aren't going to be that cheap but if anyone knows a hotel with a good deal or something. Im planning on making the reservations sometime this coming week or next week and it is going to be only the two of us and we are planning on staying about 4 or 5 days, thanks for your help!

Try www.kayak.com. One tip....for New Years Eve all the hotels will be expensive however, the further from Times Square you are, the cheaper they'll be.
