What's the best way to get from New York JFK airport to Financial District in Manhattan? I am going to New York at the weekend but as I have not booked a package deal I don't get transfers to the hotel. Just wondering if anyone can tell me the quickest/easiest/cheapest way to get from JFK airport to Wall Street?I'll be arriving at 9:30pm local time if that makes any difference.

What's the best way to get from New York JFK airport to Financial District in Manhattan? I always use a cab. It's a set fare (I think $45) from JFK to anywhere in Manhattan so you won't get stung if the traffic is lousy.Have a great time!!

May have to change at the depot which is up by the Empire state, then the sub down or even another bus.I often get the bus into NY, but from the Jersey side, I would imagine it would be pretty much the same coming in the other side |

What's the best way to get from New York JFK airport to Financial District in Manhattan? My friend, you have asked a native New Yorker this questions and I, the "Master of Public Transportation," shall help you get from JFK to Wall Street.Step 1: take the Airtrain JFK to Jamiaca Station, make sure the announcement you hear is "Jamiaca Station." The trip from JFK to Jamiaca Station is 10 minutes.Step 2: at Jamiaca Station, transfer to a Manhattan-bound "E" train (Blue Line). Please follow the sign that says "NYC Subway "E" Train to Manhattan".Step 3: take the Manhattan-bound "E" train (Blue Line) all the way to Chamber Street-World Trade Center. Step 4: When leaving the subway walk at the Chamber Street-World Trade Center, exit at Fulton and Church Street (follow exit sign). Walk six blocks along Church Street from Fulton to Thames Street. Then walk one block east along Thames Street from Church to Broadway. And finally walk one block south along Broadway from Thames Street to Wall Street. You'll end up infront of Trinity Church. Now, the total trip should take about 45 minutes, but its the quickest, cheapest and easiest way to get to Wall Street from JFK.FaresAirtrain JFK $5 (exit only)NYC Subway $2 (one way)You can buy a regular pay per ride Metrocard for both the Airtrain and the subway. Both systems take the Metrocard.I hope this was very helpful, enjoy you trip.

What's the best way to get from New York JFK airport to Financial District in Manhattan? Airtrain ($5, pay at the end) to Howard Beach Station, Manhattan-bound A subway ($2) all the way through Brooklyn to Broadway/Fulton/Nassau streets, the first stop in Manhattan. That stop is within the Financial District, but if you're going to Wall Street proper, you'll have a few blocks to walk south. Total time a little over an hour, depending on how promptly your trains come.I would be comfortable doing this at night, even though yes, there will be other people on the subway, even homeless people, and yes, you will have to carry your luggage a ways at the other end. If you really can't handle those concepts, take a cab...$45 plus tip will come out to $55 or so (plus toll if applicable...$4.50 for the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, but there won't be one if you take the Brooklyn Bridge). There is also sometimes a wait at JFK for a cab.

What's the best way to get from New York JFK airport to Financial District in Manhattan? As subway is right by the airport you could take A train and get off at Nassau/Brodway station which is in the Financial District which will take about 45 minutes + 15minutes waiting on a train or take a cab fairs are standard around $50+tip. A train is a little creepy but there are usually a lot of people going into the city from the airport so it should not be too bad.

What's the best way to get from New York JFK airport to Financial District in Manhattan? It has to be a cab arriving at that time of the evening for security but the question was what is the best way to get there and it is as follows:- I know it doesn't help you but wouldn't it be lovely if it did? (This really happened when I rang old friends whom I had stayed with in Ireland before they went to New York with their two little boys.) Have a friend called Sean who lives on the west side in upper Manhattan and picks you up at JFK, drives you into Manhattan, via the Long Island Expressway so that you may see the Chrysler Building and The Empire State Building and then takes a slight detour to show you The Flat Iron Building before dropping you whereever you wish to go. Then, at the end of your trip, taking you back to the airport and refusing point blank to accept a dime in payment. I defy anyone to top that, it was great! Why are you going to the financial district at that time of night, surely it will be empty?

What's the best way to get from New York JFK airport to Financial District in Manhattan? I go to JFK regularly and so far the most hassle-free way to get to Manhattan where my son lives is by cab. Also, I sit in the cab and just hear Joni Mitchell's song 'Big Yellow Taxi'. Worth every dollar!
