Question about Reno, Nevada for the winter.?

My family and I live in San Francisco and we are thinking of going a cheap trip to Reno, Nevada. We are planning to take the Greyhound. Does anyone know if it snows in Reno around December 10-16? I know it snows like up the mountains, but does it snow down where Circus Circus Reno Hotel is?

There's a good chance of snow, according the almanac.DECEMBER 2007: temperature 33° (4° above avg. north, avg. south); precipitation 1" (0.5" below avg.); Dec 1-5: Sunny, mild; Dec 6-12: Cloudy, rain north; sunny, mild south; Dec 13-15: Showers, mild; Dec 16-22: Snow, then sunny, cold; Dec 23-27: Rain, mild north; sunny, cold south; Dec 28-31: Rain and snow, seasonable.
