what are the places to visit in Las Vegas with young kids and any kind of deal? I'm sure you're going to get loads of links from posters about the cool stuff in town (Lion Habitat, Shark Reef, etc.) but also consider Red Rock State Park. It's only twenty minutes west of the strip. Sometimes a kid just has to cut loose of the crowds of big people, and go somewhere to climb rocks, run around, and get dirty.

what are the places to visit in Las Vegas with young kids and any kind of deal? Listen, Las Vegas really isn't a place for children. Some of the shows aren't appropriate and may scare little kids.

what are the places to visit in Las Vegas with young kids and any kind of deal? Circus Circus is a great hotel for kids. It is home of the Adventuredome Theme Park, a 5-acre, indoor, ride-packed heaven for children. It is also home of the very best steak house in Las Vegas, "The Steak House".http://www.lasvegashotels-online.com/las-vegas-hotels/circus-circus-hotel-casino/index.htmlDrive time from Los Angeles to Las Vegas is only 6 hours. You really should not need to make an overnight stop.

what are the places to visit in Las Vegas with young kids and any kind of deal? Major Las Vegas Attractions:An Evening at La CageMardi Gras Showrooms, the Riviera Bellagio Caesar's Palace Imperial Palace Las Vegas Hilton (Star Trek) Las Vegas Natural History Museum Liberace Museum Lied Discovery (Children's) Museum Madame Tussaud's (Wax) Celebrities Marjorie Barrick Museum of Natural History MGM Grand New York - New York Paris - Las Vegas Red Rock Canyon (National Conservation Area) Rio's Copacabana Sahara Siegfried & Roy Speed (Roller Coaster) at the Sahara Star Trek The Experience Stratosphere Tower Treasure Island (Mirage) Venetian Resort Hotel Wet 'N' Wild Indispensable guide for families I highly recommend this book to anyone headed for Las Vegas with the kids in tow. It paints a very complete picture of the city and answers questions you'd never even think to ask. This book was published just as we were planning a trip that includes a stop in Las Vegas. Our three kids (ages 10, 8, 6) love to travel, but we have learned that you can never do enough research when it comes to planning a trip with kids.Having been to Vegas more than a few times without the kids, we have a pretty good feel for the place. Even so, a vacation with the kids along needs to be a very different type of trip, so we still found ourselves with many questions. Happily, this book answers them all!Very specific information on everything from hotels, restaurants, and attractions (including which places are NOT kid-friendly). Also includes info on side trips, shopping, etc. Everything is broken down into price categories (from very expensive to inexpensive and everything between). Definitely written by someone who understands that kids are not just miniature adults.I only wish I could get hold of such complete information for all our destinations
