A'Salaam A'Laikum. When I travel to the Chicago area, I normally use Priceline.com to bid on hotel rooms. I seem to get the best deals on hotels around the O'Hare Airport. I like those hotels as well because they are quite centrally located. I can get to downtown, the west suburbs, Devon Avenue, etc in all about the same time. Normally I put my bid for a 2 1/2 star hotel for between $30 and $50 dollars and it normally accepted.

The Pioneer in Lansing, IL the rooms are 30 bucks for 4 hours. make sure you wear your bullet proof vest and have the AK-47 in the trunk, you'll need it to get to the room.
