any reveiws about hotel in Panama City Florida/where to stay?

Going to thunder bike rally in Panama city Florida in May,would like to stay close to the event but not too close,looking for a good cheap hotel not to far away from the bike rally.

Walk down the beach look for the pool with the mountain built into the middle of it. That hotel was so cool. I'm not sure it's still there, but I'd take a walk down the beach first.

I stayed at the Days Inn and at the Best Western both are OK and reasonable and are across the street from the beach
