do you really want to go to florida ? I would choose vegas for x mas if it was me . I live in florida and i hate it . It is way exspensive to stay here . my sister in law comes here once a yr and she says it is way costly for hotel rooms and such . she would rather go to vegas . good luck and god bless.

I really enjoy St. Augustine at Christmas. First of all there is a ton of stuff to do in the city. Plenty of places to see besides the beach. Second the whole city is covered in white lights and it just looks beautiful. Around Christmas they have all kinds of special events; I enjoy taking a carriage ride around the city at this time of year. There are several places that you can stay for pretty cheap, one of the best places that I have found there is the Pirate Haus. Located in the heart of downtown you are within walking distance from everything and they have FREE parking which is very hard to find in the city! The people who own it are just great and they do a really good job keeping the place clean and entertaining their guest. St. Augustine is the oldest city in the US and wow the history is very rich here. Take a trip to the first Ripley’s, or ride a Trolley. Go see the old fort Castillo De San Marco or for a little more of an adventure go to Fort Mantanza and take the FREE tour and boat ride. You can also take a Dolphin cruise which is very neat! Go see the Fountain of Youth, the Old Jail and the old Colonial Village. They are always doing something cool for Christmas! Again there is so much to see in this city and they really do Christmas right. They also have plenty of WONDERFUL restaurants for all budgets. Here are some websites that you might be interested in:http://www.oldcity.com/http://www.ci.st-augustine.fl.us/visitors/vic.htmlhttp://www.getaway4florida.com/http://www.historicstaugustine.com/visit/plan.htmlHope this helps you have a great trip!
