If you are looking for a bit of fun in the sun, I would recommend checking out some of the smaller hotels/motels along the strip (Ocean Dr/A1A) between Hallandale Beach Blvd. and Hollywood Blvd. There's plenty to choose from, and you'll be right there in all the action on Hollywood Beach!! If you prefer the chain hotels,try the Ramada Hollywood Beach Hotel for reasonable rates...Also, I recommend Giorgios Grill restaurant right on A1A for great gourmet food (reasonable prices) Dining outside on the Intracoastal, and they also have a fabulous bakery with goodies to take home! Only thing, get there early or reserve to avoid long waits!

In Dania or Hollywood all the price are high in winter time and cheaper in summer time. Have you try to take a look, far west of Dania or Hollywood bd ? I mean, really west of the I-95 or the 441. Closer you will be from Ocean drive higher will be the price , specially in winter time.

ever thought of camping in a campground you can save alot of money doing it that way if funds are limited just a thought

There are about a hundred Mom & pop motels along US 1 in that areaof varying quality. Among them are New Kent; Relax Inn; Budget Inn; Crown Inn; Richard's Motel, SunRay, etc., etc. Many are owned by Indian families who live on or near the premises. Few of them advertise -- but some do.
