Does anyone know of a place where I can stay? Somewhere close to Celebration, Florida.?

It can be an apartment, motel, hotel, room, or whatever. I need it to be cheap. I'm going to be there for about 2 weeks for a minor operation. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful. I've been looking for a place for the past week but couldn't find any. Thanks so much.I'm trying to find one for under $50 a night.

There are several places just outside of Celebration (in Kissimmee, on Hwy 192): Radisson, Celebration Hotel, etc...You can do an area-wide quote at http://www.resideo.com/us/florida/kissimmee/ -- when the results appear, you can choose "Celebration" from the distance dropdown, that'll put the places closest to Celebration first in the list.Good luck with both the surgery and the trip!

There are many time shares about 3 miles from celebration. I can't remember the name of the road but it is the one that the entrance to celebration is off of and has Chuck's steakhouse right across the street from the entrance.Anyway, I'm sure there is going to be at least one empty timeshare due to cancellation or just not rented. If it is short notice you may be able to work out a deal for a very low price.I would do a search for "timeshares near celebration, FL" or check on priceline, hotwire, etc....

people here rent out there condo while they are in there home states.so, look around to find a two week condo rental, i bet it will be cheeper than two weeks in a hotel in kissimmeehttp://www.valuevacationrentals.com/FL/Kissimmee.cfmlook by the week, and if your staying for two weeks, haggle.

If you drive along Route 192 between Florida's Turnpike and downtown Kissimmee, you will see a lot of very "economical" motels and weekly rentals. Many of the locals are Spanish speakers. This will not be the "tourist" area, and actually the neighborhood is downright shabby. However, it is not a high crime area as so long as you aren't leaving expensive jewelry and electronics laying about your room you probably don't have anything to worry about. As you proceed along 192 and approach the theme parks, the area grows less shabby and more "tourist centered" and expensive, but there are still some motels under $60 per night. Try looking up lodgings in a Yellow Pages instead of sites like Orbitz or Travelocity. That is how I find "cheap" hotels.

Knight's Inn is the CHEAPEST. It's on 1-92 RIGHT near Celebration. It's where my sister set up her friend at. $37/night and it's clean!

Try checking out the hotels on I-192 as they are all in close proximity. You may be able to find someone renting a room in that area if you check www.craigslist.com.
