Default Holidays - Orlando - From Scotland or NW England?

Anyone know of any economical ways for getting a holiday in Orlando for 2 weeks for next summer (2 adults). My dates are fairly flexible - does not need to be any particular week / monthIs it cheaper to buy flights and hotels seperately.Looking for a bargain deal and wondered the cheapest way to do it.many thanks

We have been now 2 years in a row. We book everything seperately. We fly Globespan from Glasgow and found them very reasonable. They seem to be a bit more expensive this year, but shop around online.Compared to package deals through a travel agents we saved £1000 last year booking ourselves online, based on a family of 4. Shop around.

I found it easier to buy a package including flights, car hire and villa rental. When I researched it I found it loads cheaper to buy it all together than separately. We flew from Manchester with Virgin Atlantic and then had a villa in Kissimmee for 3 weeks. It was wonderful and all the flights were on time. Don't fly with Globespan as Watchdog said there safety procedures are not good.

Check out the Orlando forum on tripadvisor.com - there are a lot of people from the UK who post on that forum and may be able to help. Here's another link with some good information:http://www.askdaisy.net/orlando/

The cheapest flight ( but not the best it has to be pointed out ) is Travelcitydirect.com. I have been to WDW 6times in the last 10 years and these are the cheapest by far. If there is more than one family going i suggest getting a flydrive from travelcitydirect and rent a villa from ownersdirect and split the cost. In my experience this is the cheapest way to do it. Also when you do your quote online keep experimenting with your departure date. A couple of days either way could save you a lot of money.
