Default I need help with disney world (orlando) tickets and a hotel, what do you guys recommend?

I am bringing my girlfriend to disney world on the 20th, and we plan to sleep overnight in a hotel on the 19th. I am trying to find something relatively cheap (under 300 for the 1 night stay and 2 tickets) what do you guys recommend? do you know of any discount places?

I recommend you check the rates at not only Disney's moderate or value resorts, but also at the Swan and Dolphin. They sometimes run some really good web deals. The same goes for the hotels in Downtown Disney. Have a great time.

There is a discount agency, go to http://www.galaxy.joystar.com and request a quote.I suggest for your budget pop century or Caribbean Beach

I would recommend that you stay in the Kissimmee area because most of the hotels in that area are usually under $40 per night, and it's not far from the attraction area. As far as tickets to Disney itself, they don't come cheap and you can only get legitimate discounted tickets through AAA.

If you are only going for one day, you won't find much of a discount on tickets. Disney tickets get cheaper per day the more days that you buy. There is an authorized ticket dealer at http://www.mapleleaftickets.com where you could buy your tickets in advance to avoid standing in line.Disney has value properties on-site - if I were staying only one night, I would try to get one of those. They are the All-Stars and Pop Century hotels, which you can reserve at Disney's website or any of the big travel agency websites. Alternatively, you can try nearby Kissimee, Florida or International Drive in Orlando. Lots of cheap choices! Also, be sure you do a little research before you go to make the most of your one day. Do you realize that Disney World is made up of four separate theme parks, each of which you can spend a day or more in? You are probably thinking of the signature, original Disney World park, the Magic Kingdom. But you might want to check out the info on all the parks at http://www.allearsnet.com or a good guidebook to make sure that you pick the park that you will enjoy the most.

First I would like to star this by saying “Mickey wants Paid” or there is no Free Lunch. Disney really does not encourage nor do they offer many discounts on park tickets…there are a few ways to get discounted tickets but in my mind the savings does not outweigh the risk.Time Shares-Sure they will offer to sell you 2 disney tickets for about $25 each(again not free) but is $50 worth of savings worth 2 hours of your vacation time not to mention you will get to the moment where you have to emphatically tell the salesman and his/her manager the word “No” over and over again.I-192 ticket booths-these folks will offer you discounted tickets but technically a Disney ticket is non transferable and you are assuming that the ticket they sell you is valid. Is the savings worth finding yourself talking to a Disney Guest Relations agent who informs you your tickets are invalid…or worse yet informs you that these are not your tickets and invalidates them for you…this is a really bad ideaIf you really want to find discounted tickets head over to mousesavers.com, legitimate places that do offer a discount will save you a couple of bucks but not a fortune..As far as the hotel figure out what you want to spend first and then look for the best value for the $$, personally for such a quick trip I would recommend staying on property so you can take advantage of the free transportation and extra magic hours!! As stated by someone else I think Pop or Coronado would be good choices for your budget

Recommedations may not be that helpful at this late a date. I would call 1-407 W Disney and see what is available. I would think you could easily stay in the Value Resorts, with park tickets for the price you mentioned. I know nothing about the off Property hotels we always stay on grounds and get the meal plan.
