Default Lake Suite Hotels in Orlando?

I am planning on surprising my boyfriend for his bday with a four day trip to Walt Disney World. In my search for Hotels I found the Lake Suite Hotels as one of the more appealing and budget friendly. Has anyone stayed there? If so, did you find the kitchen and closeness to Target and food places beneficial, or did you end up eating most of your food at the theme parks anyways? I dont want to stay in a cheap run hotel, but dont think its necessary to pay out the butt for one of the disney resorts. If anyone has stayed here before I would appreciate your take on it as a place to stay and whether it is worth the money.

I have stayed at the Lake Suites and I always recommend them to folks traveling on a budget. The full kitchen is the best perk. We typically plan out our days in advance and plan to eat 1-2 dinners at the resort. We also plan to eat every breakfast at our hotel and typically one sack lunch for when we visit Cocoa Beach or Siesta Key. So once we arrive and check in, we visit the grocery store and grab sandwich stuff, breakfast items, and 2 frozen meals that will feed the entire family. All other meals we eat at the parks and Disney resorts. The other great perk about the Lake Suites is the free shuttle. It leaves every 30 minutes and travels to all of the Disney resorts, Sea World and Universal.Have a great trip!

I've checked your hotel and i think that you can get something better paying the same. In this case i would recommend you the Marriott Vacation Brand. These brand consists of apartments on hotels. These apartments have 2 or 3 rooms, a living room, a TV studio, a dinning room and a kitchen. In this hotels the best are:1.Marriott's Cypress Harbour2.Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club at Orlando 3.Marriott's Imperial Palm Villas 4.Marriott's Royal Palms5. Marriott's Sabal Palms These kind of hotels has Spa, tennis field, golf course, restaurant, pool, meeting places and wireless high-speed broadband. All of these hotels are very near to Walt Disney World so It is very easy to get to the different thematic parks.
