I am looking for something nice, but not expensive-- under $50 a night-- I do not need all the luxury-- just clean and secure place. Breakfast would be great too! Staying there at the end of May for a week.Anyone travalled to Disney World recently? Any suggestions on the hotel? or where to get cheap tickets for the parks? or what else to do while visiting Orlando?Thank you!

Sorry to tell you, but the hotels near Disney are more like $100 a night. You may be able to find one at a discounted rate on hotels.com, but it'll be a little cheaper, but I highly doubt that you'll find one for $50 a night near Disney. Go to Sea World and Universal Studios while you're in Orlando! If you go to the sites for Sea World and Universal Studios, they sometimes have discounted prices for multiple theme parks. Have fun!

i have to say sorry too. but i just went to disney like last month and i recomend All star movies hotel. it is $82 a night. all the information is on www.allears.net click on Accommodations. this should help you a lot

Well, there are actually a handful of hotels outside of Disney World property (within 5 miles of the main entrance) with rates close to $50.00 per night. I'd suggest Meridian Hotel Orlando. Check out Comfort Inn in Lake Buena Vista. Usually the are a good price and are clean, nice and offer transportation to the parks.

You can get great hotels near Disney for $59 a night, but not in May. May is a peak time, so hotel rates go up dramatically. For example, my husband and I stayed at the Best Western Lakeside last December (early in the month) and paid only $59 a night! I checked their rates for June and their prices were in the $80s! So you may have to spend a bit more per night in order to visit in May.
