So my dream has always been to go to a Devils vs. Habs game in Montreal and i might get to do that on March 1st because it's a day before my birthday. Does anyone know where i can find cheap tickets, hotels and stuff. And, should i be worried about going to a game wearing my devs jersey? I mean, it can't be as bad as going to the garden, but that was a pre-season game. HABS fans aren't hatefull are they?

Google- compare shop-ticket master-stub hub-habs web site. For hotels and resorts, I always go and read reviews at tripadvisor.com and it has never failed me. I wouldn't be too worried in Montreal but why bother anyway, err on the side of safety. If you are young, you might be fine. If you are not, and don't mind getting called names then go for it, but again, why bother? It's not as if it will make the Devils play any better. Check out some local fare, poutine and smoked meat sandwiches. Also, alot of good restaurants, many "bring your own bottle" eateries. If you are a male, check out some local Men's Clubs. They have some of the finest. (think you are young and female anyways so I guess it does not apply).

Try Cragislist: http://montreal.craigslist.ca/Usually people with season tickets that cannot attend games put them up for sale cheap on the site.As for wearing a Devils jersey, you should have no problem. I walked the streets of downtown Montreal with my Sens jersey and never had a problem. Canada is generally not a hateful place, unless you're Gary Bettman.
